Post by: Bradley Walker on December 14, 2007, 06:30:41 PM
Just to let everyone know, Doug Moon's wife Stevie had third child and their first little boy this morning.

I am not sure of the name of the future World Champ, but at 7 lbs and 7 oz I am nicknaming him "Lucky" Moon, HA HA HA...

Wife and baby are doing 100% great.  Congrats to my bud Doug.  Third time is the charm!!!  Way to go Stevie!!!

I will post hospital info when I get it.

Brad,

Thanks for getting the good news out.  I have been at the hospital and dont have access there.

He was born at 8:05 am December 14. 7lbs 7oz, 20 inches long.  Both He and Mom are doing well.

We are leaning towards the name Max Edward Moon.  Or Max Storey Moon.  Storey is my mom's maiden name and my middle name.  My grandfather, Jack, had no boys so I am the last in the line with the storey name from his offspring.  I am very seriously considering carrying on the name.  He was a marine and fought in the pacific theater in WWII.  He was a radio operator and worked out in the lead giving coordinates to air corps.  BUT Edward is my wife's grandfather's first name.  He was an air force pilot, I think or may have been a marine pilot, in WWII and fought over in the pacific theater as well.  He was a twine engine fighter bomber pilot.  Edward is still alive today and has some incredible stories.  So we have quite a choice ahead of us.

I got this shot with my phone.

Sometimes he looks exactly like Steve, yes my borther, other times he looks just like his older sister Katie.

His sisters arent too sure of what to think, but the older one, Grace who will be 4 December 31, is showing much interest and already wants to help.  The younger one, Katie who just turned 2 on November 11, just stares at him and smiles.

CONGRADS Doug!  Glad to hear everyone's doing fine.  That is one HANDSOME young man!

Sounds like the easiest way to resolve all your name choices is... to get "busy" on his little brother!

Don't temp him BRUTHA!!!  That boy has a lot of "love to give".

He and Stevie make good looking kids.  Thank goodness for Stevie being in the mix.

Max Moon the "Lucky 7".  I guess he can put 77 on his rudder.

...and you can really suck at it, and it is still fun.

If you pay for it, is that an RTF?
