"Hole Shot" Pictures
« on: October 30, 2008, 06:42:48 PM »
Thanks to Keith Spriggs who came over to my house for about an hour I am now able to post pictures.
I built a Hole Shot and it is a fantastic flying airplane.  I have about 20 flights on it and it handles the Kansas winds with ease when the .46s and .51s are still sitting on the ground!  I have a OS28F mounted in it with a Jim Lee venturi and it pulls it around quite nicely.  Have a 4" Brodak Bellcrank in it and a home brew 2 1/2 oz uniflow tank.  If you would like to know anything else or want more pictures let me know.  I have sent pictures and information to Bob Hunt and Allen Brickhouse so you may see something in one of the mags.  Came in at 33 oz ready to fly (less fuel).

Looks like it liked the Missouri winds at Terry's place the weekend I was down there.   Great looking little plane in person.   Have fun,  DOC Holliday

Mike,...

The "Hole Shot" was designed by Bob Hunt.  He is also the C/L Aerobatics columnist for Model Aviation (the AMA magazine).  It just so happens that Bob is doing a "build along" series of articles in his column using the Hole Shot as the subject!!

Plans are available through Randy Smith of AERO PRODUCTS in Dacula, GA.  Tha phone number is 678.407.9376

Hope this helps.

Signed,

This is part of the reason people should read their "Model Aviation".  Bob was surprised that I would read his article each month when the mag came out.  This month is molding without using foam.  DOC Holliday
