Airplane size vs. line length

Depending on how much hacking and pruning I do, I have space in my back yard for a plane on lines that are between 40 and 55 feet.

What's a good rule of thumb for what sized model (weight, wingspan, power) for a given length of line?  I'm looking for a "stuntish" sort of run.

You can use a good 15 to 20 size plane and use 52 ft lines, I had a Shark 15 that flew great, you can also find stellar full body ships that work well, and use a 15 19 or 20

Sig Akromaster.  Power from a .10 to a .19 depending on the desired speed.  Or electric.  I have photos of the electric but not with me.

Welll??? I'm flying a small plane this spring. I made a .10 powered plane with flaps and on 47' .012 lines. 1.5oz tank, 7x4 prop, and I do the whole pattern. IN fact I was in the wind today........no problem. I have the templates and blue print. IT'S lots-o-fun. Just asked the Fireball crew.

I actually have room for a full sized circle at my place. I can get about 175' diameter circle in there. Take a chain saw, a bunch of time and some land moving and grading equipment, but it could be done. Of course, I'd be flying in a hole surrounded by 100' fir trees all the way around. Could be interesting in the wind.

If the circle of trees is continuous the ground level will be surprisingly calm.  IF I were to chop all my trees down on the river floodplain I would have a similar situation... due to emerald ash borer I might be there this year anyways...  I'll plant willow I think...  The bottom of my little section of valley is always calm, except when a storm is bearing down... I would expect the TOP, 70 ft above ground level, to be a little strange more often though.
