Title: "Buddy, can you spare a few Thousand?"
Post by: JoeJust on October 14, 2018, 04:39:46 PM
Ebey just notified me that there is a new listing for a twin ignition engine for sale.  Beautiful looking machine, but a bit out of my pay level at $77,000!

Only  one, and it is a "one of a kind".  Along with this motor he offers others for as low as $1500.
(Oh, BTW, the buyer must insure it before shipping)

It's been on Ebay off and on for a long time. Seems like I recall it being listed at $7500 originally so they may have just "fat fingered" the amount when relisting it. Very spendy, but it's definitely way cool.

Me thinks they added a few to many 0's. But, you never know. Watching the prices old tether cars bring just blows my mind. Really nice ones bring in the thousands of dollars. I have lots of superb ignition engines, but no tether cars.

After paying so much for a "one-of-a-kind" engine, where do you go to find parts (assuming you run it, and assuming you can make it run.)
