"Bucks Deluxe" Any ideas
« on: November 08, 2006, 06:46:30 PM »
In a kit from Hobby Fasteners, there is a small advertising pamphlet about control line flying and it features a picture of an elliptical singed stunter called Bucks Deluxe.

Does anyone have any info on this airplane???  Plans???

The Bucks Deluxe was designed by Joe Adamusco for the ST-46 and is a beautiful plane.

On the other hand, there are several factrs that make it sonething for the advanced builders only. Thewing/flaps and stab/elev are eleptical, like the later Spitfire. This means that the wing can be tricky to build, the flaps and stab require special jigs to sand to shape and the fuse sides taper from the tail up to the spinner in a straight line.

The bux Delux is a real sharp plane but you need to know what youre doing to get the job done rightand I don't know of anyone other than Joe who's built one but his was SUPRE FINE!

Plans? I got mine from Windy quite some time ago. I'm sure that he'dbe happy to sell you a set.

Gary Lutz from Maryland was flying a Stuntress with ST 60 for quite a while until he got his "new" Adamusko Spitfire done.  Both planes are really gorgeous, and Gary does pretty fair flying them!
