Don't forget Richard Sarpolous(spelling).  He has desigeC/L & R/C for Flying Models how many years now?  Got an e-mil from him several years ago when I built his Wild Goose.  Call mine the Blue Goose and it was a hand full in the early flights. Need to get it out more often as it is a sight to see from the center of the circle. H^^

Floyd and John,

...agreed. My only reservation is that the 'nouveau' RC fliers seldom care for anything that is not flogged - for them - in the magazines and websites.

One of the posts above points out that RC is older than CL. That should make CL the latest, newest technology we have. Does that make economic sense? H..l NO!

I respect, as fellow model fliers, those who design, evolve and develop new models, which advance the art of model flight. For those who merely ape established successes for profit, and forget the fun, I have less regard.

An objective look at the available magazine/catalogs suggests that model fliers are an endless source of wealth, just as some legislators seem to understand that taxpayers are an endless source of wealth to themselves and their cronies... Regardless of lost jobs, homes, occasionally families...

BTW, I had no idea what "tea-bagging" was until critics of the Boston Tea Party re-enacters linked a peculiar same-sex game with the current wide movement in opposition to excessive taxation, excessive Government intrusion and control of details of private life... A "gay" acquaintance enlightened me.

My apologies! I realize that what I just said "is intolerable!," "will not be tolerated!," and must be ended, immediately. (As if anything so described ever has been so far...)

Guilty! y'r dishonor. I'll protest, appeal, or make headlines somehow to try to vindicate my freedom of opinion and comment.

20+ years in uniform to guarantee "them" freedom of speech, so that they can deny ME that same freedom. I been took!

Ah, well, I haven't (yet) been listed as a public enemy. I (dubiously) feel somewhat confident of my guaranteed feedom to think what I wish to. Sadly, I have a suspicion that this freedom, too, will not last.

May the good Lord save me from my worst fears in these areas!
