Claudio....it's absolutely unfair that one guy monopolizes all the talent!  I can finally understand why I have no talent and all my planes look like something that started as road kill!   LL~

Just kidding....love you planes, look very cool.  I would really be interested in seeing in a little more detail, how you have handled the take-apart peices.

Hi Glenn,
Thanks man...and post some pics of your planes please!

I'm enclosing a picture which shows the take apart system I use. Please refer to the previous thread to see the photos of the parts detached.
In case you need them, I can take some additional photos for you. Just let me know.

Kind regards,
Claudio. H^^

Claudio,

It seems you are using the method outlined in Paul's Impact article (with some variation). One piece, bolt on wing. Detachable rudder and stab. I've done this system and it works quite well. I sure like the workmanship. All the fits are very, very good. Sit down, put your hand over your shoulder and pat yourself on the back. It's really nice work.

Hello Randy, how are you?
I'm using this system since 1980 (and of course, I'm not the inventor of it) now somehow improved in terms of weight and strength in my "77". It works perfectly well for me...I can carry up to three planes in my minivan without sacrificing the passenger nor luggage space.

Randy, by the way: have you flown your new plane?

Best regards,
Claudio.
