While I like both teams, I was pulling for the Saints.  I pull for any team that plays against the Cowboys.  Who decided they are suppose to be Americas team anyway? Horay for the Saints!

Yes they did. But I'm still going to say BOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I hate the Saints, unless they're playing against the Cowboys. Then they're my favorite team.

I was a Saints fan back with Archie was running the show. You had to be dedicated to root for the Saints back then.

I didn't really have a dog in the fight but was hoping the Saints would win. Became a Chargers fan when I was living in SD and Fouts was the QB. They always blew it in the playoffs just like they are doing now.

My childhood heroes were Roman Gabriel, Jack Snow, Dick Bass and the Fearsome Foursome. Does anyone remember them? Bonus points for naming all four of the Foursome. I'm still a fan but lately it's been real difficult. Go NFC!

So the team that beat us in the playoffs (barely) won the Superbowl.  that's gotta count for something...don't it? (toss us a scrap, here...)

VERY GOOD Lee! Those guys were great wern't they? That was back in the day of the Dooms Day and the Purple People Eaters too.
Did you know the term "Sack" is attributed to Deacon Jones? They outlawed his headslap :)
Olsen and Grier were next to impossible to run on.

Hi Rick,

One of my Aunts went to High School with Roman, and I saw him play at NC State......... ;D

I like Bill Brown.  Him and Jimmy taylor were the best fullbacks of the era.  Of course then came Larry Csonka......

I loved the way Roman would stand in the pocket with big tackles hanging all over him and still able to heave the ball to Snow. No in the grasp sissy sh*t back then.

Ahhh Boom Boom Brown and Mean Joe Capp. Gosh I hated those guys...they were the nemis of my Rams. Great players no doubt but I still hated them :)
