SkyRay 35 n30 legal at this years Nats?
« on: May 17, 2021, 10:45:14 AM »
I'm planning a trip to the Nats this year. As far as I see from info on this site the Skyray 35 was designed in 1989 and thus n30 legal. Can anyone confirm this?

The Sig Skyray is proven to be at least 32 years old.

I have one ready to go if the right contest comes along.

Copyright date on the plans is 1989.  Paul is right that the design is 32 years young and thus N30 eligible.

Thankyou. I finished the Skyray but needed another flight session to finish trim it. The wind at the Nats kept me from this. I Flew my Skyray XL in Intermediate. And had a great time, especially watching Joe Gilbert take 'em to school!
