Hi Ty, Jose and I were there the day Vic first pulled the Crusader out of the back of a telephone repair van. The WHOLE Flushing Meadows crowd gathered around it. Amazing, simply amazing.

Neat project Ty, I'll have to keep an eye on this one.

In other news, can we see a couple pics of the yellow Shoestring hiding in the background?

Actually it is just a lot of funny shapes all glued together. Not all that difficult.  H^^

  LL~ LL~ LL~ I guess I'm thinking they're funnier shapes than I'm comfortable with.

I suppose I could do like my buddy Keith says, "Just sand off all the parts that don't look like a Phantom".

I'd love to get plans to Windy's F-16. That would be awesome.

I do not know about any F-16 that Windy Urtnowsky did.  However, there was an F-16 done by Lou Dudka of the Garden State Circle Burners in the mid 70's.  An incredibly good job of capturing the "appearance" of the F-16 which is difficult trying to make a competitive stunt ship look like an F-16.  It was painted in the scheme of the F-16 prototype.  Ed Capitinelli was looking at a set of plans several years ago to build one.  ST .46 and Genesis 46 numbers with a Bob Hunt foam wing.  This one deserves to be a feature in Stunt News.

I am not trying to hijack this Crusader thread, but Lou's airplane deserves some recognition.
