Thanks, guys.

Well, I haven't been able to find them on the AMA plans service web site. I suppose I could call with the information and see what I get that way.Sigh..

Do you want the "glued-in" wing version or the removable wing version??

I remember this project well. Lew called me when I was operating Control Specialties Corp. back in the 1970's and asked me if I would produce the foam cores and fully sheeted and cored foam wings for his Spinks. I made several of them and some were slated for the CL version and some were to be used in the RC version.
I only had the pleasure of competing with Lew on one occasion and that was at the 1973 Nats in Oshkosh. Lew was right at the end of his competition career at that point and was flying the Spinks. It flew very well, but you could tell that Lew had sort of lost the spark at that point.
He was a gentleman of the first order and certainly a ferocious competitor in his prime. I remember watching him win the 1961 Nats in Willow Grove. He had a long and successful run. God Speed, Lew McFarland...

Randy,
The Lew McFaland plans from American Aircraft Modeler are listed in the AMA plans service as the "Akromaster". Hope this is what you are looking for.
