Hi Bill,
Actually, I am working on that as we speak. I've had many requests for short kits for the P Force and other Force models. What's holding me back is not a viable laser cutter (plenty of them out there), but the price they are quoting for a laser cut short kit is now approaching the cost of a full kit. It was, and continues to be my opinion the builder can supply their own hardware, sheet balsa, and stick balsa. When I first started selling shorts kits the price was $65.00 plus shipping. Now it seems that the price would be closer to $80.00 plus shipping. I know wood cost and laser time have gone up so if the modelers are OK with that, then it's OK with me.
Let me know how you and others feel about this,

My preference would be an accurate laser cut rib set with plans, but $80 for a short kit doesn't sound extreme.
The P-force ARF is a good plane, my only complaint is that mine were a bit porky. The one I planted this summer was about 45oz RTF. A kit would give a person the opportunity to keep the weight down and have a better flying plane.

Given the current situation, your prices do not seem excessive.
I have indeed noticed that, possibly due to dwindling demand, that prices are becoming prohibitively high. My beloved Ringy kits, originally 1/4 the price of the Fox .35's I used to fly them, are now approaching a hundred bucks. Laser-cut rib sets alone are in the neighborhood of $30-40 and climbing, so we can all see where this is headed. I can easily understand why you are hesitant to put in a whole lot of work for very little (and diminishing) return. Other CL cottage industries I have talked to feel it as well.
I hope you can find a way to make products for the whole Force family available in the future. I'll be watching. And thanks for your work on them so far.

Personally, I think ribs sets might be a consideration if they are less than maybe 1/2 the cost of a short kit to secure.
I am sure some of the newer guys would like more, so deciding these things becomes a quandary!

I got two toddlers so the more that comes in the kit, the better!! Lol
I would love whatever kit you come up with, when they are available.

Yes I still sell the Primary Force Short kit. I have the short kits in stock most of the time, right now I’m down to three kits remaining before I reorder the next run of kits. Price is $89.99 plus $5.00 shipping.

If you follow Mike's building advice and bench trim this is one nice well behaved first flight craft

The reason I came up with the short was to help the modeler with the overall price. They can find their own sheet wood and sticks and hardware. This has worked pretty good so far so no need to change it and I plan on doing the same thing in the future. It works for almost every one.
If you want a set of just cut your own, it not hard at all. Every model I build starts from a hand cut kit unless it's a foam wing model. If someone wants a set of ribs only, I'm sure I can come up with a price and get it shipped out to you, but I think it's not going to be really cheap like the die-cut ribs.
For example: Plan sheet, instruction book, laser cut ribs = $45.00 plus shipping.

The people that send me photos all show them under the 40 ounce range. Mine were 36 & 38 ounce with dope finish. The ARF P Force were in the 45 to 48 ounces and sometings more depending on the engine used.
