After our house fire last Tuesday, I was looking at all the kits I’d lost. I haven’t opened any of them yet. All were standing on end in about 8” of water for a few days. Water was pumped out of the basement Thursday.
Do you think my Primary Force short kit may be salvageable? I would expect I’d need new plans but might the cut parts have survived in a usable condition?
To be honest, I don’t even want to look!

I decided to try drying out this short kit.
The kit was standing vertically in about 8” of water. I left it in this position for 4 days after the water was pumped out of our basement. I brought the kit to the hotel we’re living out of and stood it on the opposite end in front of the AC unit for a couple days. Opened it up and everything was still wet about half the length of the box. I pulled all the sheets and laid them out on a table. I flipped them over every couple hours hoping that would keep them from bowing. It worked great on the thicker sheets as they are all in excellent shape. The thin sheets with the ribs are bowed slightly but still perfectly usable.
I’m going to try the same again on my Pathfinder tonight.

Hi Matt,
Wow, I hope that works out for you. I’ve never sold just a parts kit, just short kits. But I do have plans and instruction books if you need them and I think a few scratch builder plans (with all the parts printed). Let me know what you need and I’ll try and help as much as I can.
