Mike Scott has asked that I pass this along.  It is from DMAA:

"Mike Scott just received word from Tom Farmer's daughter that Tom just passed away.  There are no details yet but will let you all know as soon as they are received.
Tom was a member of DMAA since its inception and was always willing to help anyone with a smile.
Paryers are needed for Doris and Tom's family.
God Bless Tom.
Linda Bob "

I knew Tom from "the old days" but he was already ill when I came back so I never got to catch up.
God's speed Tom.  Say hi to Bob, Bill and Lee for me and save me a place in line.

This is sad news.  He was my opponent when I entered a combat meet many years ago.  Lost touch when I left the area an while flying one weekend at the Dallas field he showed up.   It has been a while since I last saw him.  My prayers are outfor his family. :(

Tom Farmer was a mainstay of the Dallas club (the DMAA) for many years. Over the years, He had flown many of the controline disciplines. He ended up flying stunt for many years, and designed the Forerunner profile stunt airplanes. ( .40 and .60 size)

He was a good man. It is saddening that he has passed.

Tom was a great guy, my family and I count ourselves blessed to have had the chance to get to know him and Mrs. Doris.  We're praying for the family.
