Don't know how racing guys we have left on this forum. But today talking to Jim Dunkin at the swap meet I found out that Bill Wright of Dunkin & Wright F2C racing back in the 60's and 70's had passed away a couple of months ago. They were my mentors back then when it came to racing even though I did fairly well in Rat Racing. Bill kind of dropped out after the AMA did him wrong back then. He was our contest director back in those years of the annual Sky Devils meets. We also had monthly F2C races besides the practice sessions. I am sorry to say I do not keep in touch with people like I used to.

I was able to tour Bill's shop back in my Kansas days.
Bill was a plastic materials engineer and he had an impressive assortment of resins and fibers that he used to mold F2C bodies and wings.
