Title: Sandy,
Post by: john e. holliday on May 31, 2021, 11:01:13 AM
It is with a heavy heart that I type this today.  She was my Demented Poodle who went with me to contests and the flying field.   She was in a way my coach who would calm me down when things didn't go right.  She was with me at almost every VSC I attended and was friends with every body.  But around 11AM she took her last breath.  I knew it was coming and I tried to help her when she would lose control and could not control her leg and body movements.   Now she is in a better place  So only two of the three amigos remain, Teddy and Prissy.   I will never forget the first time I held her in Tuscon at ladies house that was selling puppies.   She was the last pup I picked up and she immediately snuggled down in my arms.   The lady wanted to put her to sleep back and I said no way.   This was back in 2006.   :(

Ty, I guess you are right.  Dad always told never make animals a pet, but I remember a couple of dogs that Dad treated like family. H^^

Hi Doc,
I never considered Sandy as demented. That pup knew how to choose its friends.

Yes she was devoted to me.  But there were things she did that got me to refer to her as demented. D>K
