I like that his biggest smile is at :26... with his wife at his side (Never met him, I assume that is his wife) My condolences to his family.

Awesome tribute, with all the sadness in the world and even in our own little stunt community, it hurts to lose one who is obviously regarded so highly.

Good job, Paul! I don't think I actually met Mike, but I was at VSC in '07 and '09. In '09, somebody was 'over yonder' teaching Linda Brainard how to fly CL on one of the grass circles. They worked at it for quite awhile, starting with an ARF FS, and then at least one of Mike's own planes. By the end of the day, she was doing the basic stunts, loops and wingovers. I asked somebody who that was teaching Linda, and the reply was "Mike Donovan". The time they both spent on that impressed me with both Linda and Mike. I wish I'd gotten introduced. I should have made some effort to introduce myself, but a comfortable chair in the shade probably dissuaded me. It was my loss.  Steve
