Jim Armour passed away this Saturday. Any and all who had the pleasure to meet
and speak with him will know that our lives are better for it. Jim will be remembered
as one of the nice guys that never had a harsh word for anyone.
I for one will miss him. We had some great adventures over the years. And besides
he was a really good guitar player!!! Bob

Jim Armour was among the first to welcome me back to CL after spending 20 years in FF. He was a talented builder, competitive flyer...and a real gentleman.

Jim was one of the fliers I looked up to when I re-entered the hobby 20 plus years ago. Although I did not know him well I always admired his consistently front row planes and looked forward to seeing him at contests.

I met Jim a long time ago when I was active before. My prayers for his family and friends...

This sadly makes my Christmas card list shorter. I have known Jim for a long time and will miss him very much.

Had the pleasure of launching Jim's ships from time to time. Will sincerely miss him.

It saddens me to hear of Jim's passing. I never had the honor of meeting him in person, but I always admired seeing his planes in pictures, admiring his craftsmanship. And I have always heard he was a true gentleman. My best wishes and prayers for his friends and family.

Always sad when a friend passes away..........it put us all on notch closer to the top of the list. I didn't get to meet him, but said a prayer anyway. :(

I am very sorry to hear this sad news. I always went looking to see what Jim brought this time. Never was disappointed his airplanes were always spic and span neat and tastefully done. He will be missed my prayers to his family.
