We lost one of the greats - Dick Williams- Designer of the Electra

I received a call from Bart Klapinski today to inform me that our good friend Dick Williams has passed away.

Dick was one of the great designers and more importantly a very nice gentleman. He will be missed by all of us who had the privilege of meeting him.

Indeed, a great modeler and a very fine gentleman.  He truly will be missed in our Fraternity.

I'm truly saddened at this passing.  My sincere condolences to his family.

It is always a sad time when we lose one of the Greats. May He rest in peace.

 I didn't know or ever meet Dick, but this is always sad news. I've got to get around to building the Electra kit on my shelf sometime, it's one of my favorite model designs.

 My condolences to friends and family.

Exactly. I've had the kit for years now.

Wish I'd met him and had the chance to talk with him a bit. Prayers for the Williams Family.
