John Gladfelter

John Gladfelter of Cincinnati, Ohio lost his battle with cancer on Monday November 9, 2015. John loved all things control line, and especially combat. He was Senior National Champion many years ago.

We will really miss John in the Cincinnati/Dayton area as a friend and competitor. Some of my combat matches with John are my most memorable, win or lose you would always get a handshake and a smile from John. My prayers and condolences go out to John's family

I first met John in Phoenix in 1980.  Nice fellow and good flying buddy.  I was glad that our paths crossed many times over the decades.  Saw him last at Brodak contest approx. 2012.
