Just seen on the Flying Lines news letter that he passed away Jan. 22, 2021 at 92 years of age.   I got to meet him once years ago at a Wichita contest.   Very friendly and tall.   I got to start a match with him.  We were up and flying level he asked me if I was ready and like a dummy I said yes.   My streamer disappeared within a few seconds.   He was a gentleman and one of my heroes in control line.  May he rest in peace. :(
