I heard that Bill Zimmer, a long time PAMPA judge, has passed this week.

Bill, Doris, I and my Wife Cheryl remained good friends over the years even though we had not been active in Model Aviation for some time.

Bill and I shared the same Birthday, April 6Th. We exchanged Birthday Cards each year with notes of what each of use had been doing. As the years past, as we all grew older, the conversation seamed to focus around Health Issues.

Cheryl and I got a lengthy Letter from Bill in April the day after our Birthdays. In the letter Bill told Cheryl and I of what had put him in to the Nursing Home. The one bright thing was he was in the same Nursing Home as Doris. The best part of that was they shared the same Room.

The saddest part of the letter was Bill saying HE would not be getting out of the Nursing Home.

Bill will be remember and missed by all of us who knew him.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BILL!

Started vacationing in NH on Lake Winnipesaukee. Bought a boat and a Snowmobile. Moved here permanently 16 years ago.

I still have "ALL" my Stuff in the cellar. I still get the urge to pickup one of my "HUNT" handles every once in a while.
