Bill Taylor a long time member of the Valley Circle Burners passed away yesterday .
Bill had battled diabetes for years , even losing a leg to it and now his life .
He loved to build classic ships , Smoothie , Skylark , Olympic and Nobler .
We shared many good times flying at The Sepulveda Basin and Bill always
volunteered for VCB contests at the Basin .
" Smoothie Bill " will be missed .
