I received a call from Sue Tarnofsky of Womelsdorf, PA to inform me of the death of Jerry on Monday December 5Th, 2016. Jerry was a marvelous builder who unfortunately suffered from diabetes, peripheral arterial disease, complete renal failure, and heart disease. He had had another surgery to remove a clot from one of his legs, which was successful, but his heart was not strong enough to pull him through the stress. Jerry was no older than 71. He had a keen interest in competitive shooting, as well as model railroading.
He is survived by at least two sons and a daughter, and his loving wife Sue and their standard Poodle, Paisley. Funeral arrangements pending.

Thanks for the note Phil
I did not know Jerry
But at my age I am keenly aware of the passing of fellow Modelers, HAM friends, Army Buddies, and a LOT of other citizens who had some great- or small -impact on my life or the lives of others
I tend to pray more and more these days as I age and these folks pass
Thoughts and prayers for Sue Tarnofsky and family....God bless

There was a day when Jerry flew and enjoyed control line stunt. He attended many contests in Ohio and Pennsylvania. A very humble and nice man. He will be missed. Rest in Peace.
