Started in the Early 1970s
« on: December 07, 2025, 05:08:21 AM »
I got started in the early 1970s on a Cox PT 19 that I got for Christmas one year.  Then on to a CG LIL Satin, Midwest Lil Snip, and other 1/2A ships that received engines from the crashed fleet of COX planes in the neighborhood.  I usually fly alone now here at the farm as there never was much of a model plane following after the "old days" in this area.  I have been hooked ever since.

It was also about this time I got hooked on off road motorcycles.  My first was the 50cc Suzuki "Trail Hopper" minibike.  As time went by, came the serios motocross / enduro machines and competitive racing.  I have not ridden in a long time, as this is a young man's game.

I still love the aroma of burning race fuel with a hint of castor and going around in a circle.

Kind Regards
