My d
Dad got a Ringmaster and a Baby Ringmaster when I was 8 and we built them together. 2 years ago I got a Black Hawk Stunt Master and a War hawk so we could build a pair of planes together again (he was 83 at the time). He doesn't have the gumption to fly so I have flown both of them as he releases them.

That is great that the two of you still fly even if he just launches them.

Hi Bob,
It's great that you can tell such good stories about your beginning and doing it with your Dad. I lost my Dad a year ago, almost to the day. But I have great memories! y1

He grumbles about not being able to do what he used to now that he is 85. but I'm glad to harass him every week (he lives 15 miles away so I run down every week). Still works part time and smokes 2 packs a day. every once in a while I can talk him into going on a train ride (there was a steam engine running on Fathers day a couple years ago) or going to a local airshow.

Very sad news to hear of the loss of a wing man, especially when it is your Father. Just remember the good times.
