G/day guys
Just wondering if anyone has tried the Xoar 3 blade electric props before and if so what are they like ?
Thanks in advance

Steve,
I usually use and APC prop on my electric. Presently using a 13 inch on my new Crossfire. I got hold of both an 11 and 12 inch Xoar three blades and tried the 11 as it was all that would fit in my spinner. The 12 inch had a much wider hub so wouldn't fit in the 1.75" spinner. I tried the 11 but felt I needed more diameter. I ended up making a 12" from a couple of 2B Xoars I had with 5" pitch. The hub on mine would fit the Precision Aero spinner I use. The prop was quieter than the APC but lacked authority in the vertical and overhead parts of the pattern. I've got a few Xoar 12 X 6 pitch props on order and will make another 3B sometime this summer. For now I'll stick with the APC or try a modified Eather 3B if I want to expend the effort.

Alan are the props all tractor's? I was going to try some 3 bld's also but all mine are tractor's. I have Bill Lee
12x6 and Majic 11x5.5's I think that is what Paul is using but work over.

Larry,
As far as I know all Xoar wood props are tractors. The only pushers I've seen are some carbon 12 X 5 props that are sold in pairs of one tractor and one pusher for RC helicopters. Last year Percy Attfield was here in Vancouver and was using one of the pushers.
