Pat wrote that 44A is eanough, it depends on model, weight, prop etc. I highly recomment 66A version. We are well below curent limits as Pat calculated, that rating is for full power run, but we use ESC full time in partial throttle (governor mode) and it brings lot of switching loses and it can overheat ESC, especially with strong boost/brake mode. Overheated ESC can cut off power and it can cost you model.
44A ESC are good for twins or contra props.
Active timer does need quick ESC, I found Jeti Spin best for that. The difference to PRO version or to other types is, that classic SPIN was modiefied for C/L in its HELI 3D mode in past and newer PRO version does not contain modes anymore, so heli 3D mode is gone and PRO version is slower than old non PRO.
