What direction do the top flyers rotate their motors?

I wonder which direction of propeller rotation might work best overall. (Same as IC engine or opposite)
The Shark I ordered can be fitted either way.

Once you fly a pusher prop through a Vertical 8 & Hourglass, you will never look back...

Every motor I've ever used always turned in a CCW direction.  Now my new electric will turn the same way.  Of course I fly CW.  When I first started flying over 50 years ago the guy who taught me flew CW.  He said he did it to take advantage of the torque of the motor.  Now that all the CCW flyers have the advantage of using pusher props, most if not all the top flyers run theirs in a CW direction.  I remember when Paul Walker was first starting to fly electric and I commented about his pusher prop.  His comment started out with "you know how you always lose a bit of tension at the start of the downward leg on the outside squares?" then he stopped and said "I forgot, you don't know about that.  My comment to his was "welcome to my world".

Alan:
I had an almost verbatim discussion with Gerry Phelps last summer.  Gerry flies CW and I never appreciated the signifcance of what that meant until I first flew a pusher.

Hey I could sell you some pusher props to try, so you can see what the rest of us have been putting up with..!   n~   n1   :X  LL~   LL~   LL~

Denny,
Thanks but no thanks.  Ever notice that now that everyone is starting to spin the other direction that prop makers are now catering to the pusher crowd.  Guess I'll have to start making my own props again.  We poor backward flyers are always suffering.  If it isn't verbal abuse it's equipment.

APC will make you whatever you want - if you order 200 of them.  That is how we got the last 5 pushers introduced.

Plan B: there are more tractors to choose from in the first place, so getting one close to what you want and modifying it is not out of the question.
