Has any body seen the Brazillan Tucano fly ? It looks like it might have a good fusalage for Battery placement ...

There were a bunch of them at Brodaks last year - they all flew great.  Most were powered with OS 70 four strokes, at least one had a ST 60, none were electric.

(per the title of your post)  You are right, there is a lot of room in the fuselage for batteries, and there is a lot of vertical height in the fuse for vertical CG adjustment using the battery.
