Vector to electric Battery compartment

Looking for pictures or sketches on converting the first vector to electric
Looking for Battery sled drawing or picture
Looking for hatch hold down  for hatch on side of fuselage
looking for a battery hatch on the inside

Top or bottom hatch needs velcro straps or bolt in battery sled   not enough room for my fat fingers

Are you converting a completed plane from IC to electric, or building it from the beginning for electric?  When you said first Vector, did you mean the original 58 inch span version?  I built this model using the Tom Morris 3D printed front mount and it worked out quite well.  These mounts are now available through "okie air.com", I can send pics if this applies to what you are doing, just let me know.

This is the Vector with the 3D printed mount.  A small cowl allows access to the motor and the ESC/Timer slides in below the battery floor. The battery side hatch allows moving the battery to achieve center of gravity.  Whether you use a front or rear mount I think a battery floor with side hatch would work.

Mark, is that a 7KCAB rudder photobombing your pics?

Also, interesting design work on the Vector nose; I think that's the best I have seen yet. Wish it was available when I built my 2 Vectors. I know some flyers who may be interested, if you are saying you can cut the parts.

No that one is a 7ECA. I have two 7KCAB's up in my Newton Hangar. They're basically the same airplane, difference is the powerplant. I haven't exactly turned that Vector front in to a kit but I could make some. It is a nose graft I did after an inverted "landing" when I flew through the sun. I'm actually going to cut one for a friend this week so it would be easy to make a few of them. I had to have the plywood made for me an entire 4x8 sheet. Send me PM if you wish and I'll send my email for better communication.

That is a pretty cramped nose.  Are you sure you are getting enough air over the battery?  It looks completely blocked in on one side.  You might consider Mark's scoops.
