When CC releases a new firmware level do the release a notes document that list the improvements or bug fixes?  Or do they send it out and leave it up to the users to determine if it is better than the previous level.

Yes, on the bottom left hand side of the Downloads page is a history of the changes for the software and the firmware.  Just click onto the type controller or Castle Link.

And if you go to the Products page, Phoenix ICE, under Resources, bottom, C/L Stunt info - them be some smart feller’s.

I'm using 3.40.0 and it works well. Should I upgrade to the latest, or leave well alone.
I remember when I, (along with others) upgraded to the latest about a year ago and it had a bug.
Castle had to do a quick fix.
What do I do.............☺ ???

I was hoping someone else would try it.  I have been the test-case a couple of times.  The good news, I now have a laptop computer to take to the flying field in case it doesn't work well. Always save the lattes firmware version that works!

I don't know about you guys, but I would just leave it alone without upgrading.  This version works fine for me.  Bad thing always happened when I change something ...

Sean

Thanks for the information.  I went and looked over the errata and it seemed mostly bug fixes for problems not normally seen in control line.  In the computer industry we tended not to fix what isn't broken.  I won't express an opinion on this update since I don't use the ICE ESC, but if I did I would wait for someone else to do the testing.  Unless of course I could relate one of the fixes to a problem I was having.
