Update and thanks
« on: July 10, 2011, 08:34:25 AM »
Thought I'd let everyone know where I'm at now, for those who haven't followed I  tried to convert aTwister but it was just to heavy 34 oz. with out battery so I cut the wing and tail out and built a built up fuse lengthend the tail to 15 inches covered with ultrakote weight now without batt is 28 oz. a big difference, so my setup now is,
E-flie 15 950kv
11X5.5 apc e
schulze esc
K. Doherty timer
So far at 9600 rpm I'm getting about 5.25 sec lap times and current draw is about 1712 per 6 min 20 sec flite,  times 1.25 = 2140 so a 2200 ma batt should work fine, I would like to thank everyone who replied to my posts without your help I wouldn't have this set up working as good as it is.
So thanks so much.  y1 <= #^ H^^

Yes I have a 3000ma 4s I'm using until my 2200's come in the mail and even with a 10.7 oz. batt it still flies alot better than it did. lol
Thanks
Dwayne
