Winter has definitely arrived in MN, so it is building season. Here is the beginning of my new profile for next year. This will really make the purists scream. It is loosely based on the Sheeks/Vornholt classic design. It has a hybrid I-Beam wing. I'm trying to post the fuselage profile, but it may not be easy to see. It is more true to scale than the Sheek's/Vornholt design. I'm still trying to decide whether to put one motor in the nose, or a smaller motor in each nacelle and set it up as a twin.

I like the box-beam wing idea too.

NEAT project!  I say go whole hog - make it a triple; two small fans in the nacelles and a prop on the nose!

I've drawn it up to take up to 8 inch props on the nacelles. I'm thinking of a couple of EMP 3530 08 motors. I have one in a Nobler Jr. that flies it with authority. I figure two of them should handle a .40 size airplane.
