My Armit arming devices

My Armit arming devices are ready for sale and can be had for $15.00 free regular mail postage. You get the bulkhead holder and plugs seen here. Just cut the hole and solder the wires for a clean install. Made of Aluminum. Send me a PM if interested. I have 10 made but more are coming.

Very nice looking.  I originally read your title with a 'p' in "Armit", and was wondering about your sudden levity (and what the heck the joke would be).

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

You said the bulkhead holder is aluminum.

Is the blue color anodized ?

Armit's are sold out and I should be getting more parts next week.

I am accepting orders. So I have a idea on how many units I need to order.

Robert,

Your arming switch looks real good, But ::) Mine is waaaaay better and a whole lot cheaper! y1

I use a 30 AMP fuse on the pos. side of the power (battery) and it works beautifully. You don't have to worry about burning up your expensive controller, motor etc.

Cheers, Jerry

Good Idea! I am going to look into fusing these like you did.

I will NEVER EVER use a fuse!!!!!!!!   It's just another point of failure. If it fails in flight, and it will fail at a critical point because that's when we have the most load, you may be kissing you #1 competition plane goodbye. Use the right sized speed controller and you won't burn it up and you don't need a fuse. There is no way I can trust my plane to a $2 fuse!!
