Total weight including entire electric package and battery........16.02 ounces.  This is a package you can buy from me or Eric that includes all the electrics, including battery and the kit.

By the way...That is Eric Rule on the rudder.  Some people mistook him for Mighty Mouse.

Mike;

Given my size that should be Mighty Moose!

Nice job on the model. I'm looking forward to hearing about the performance.

No flaps? Might be OK at the weight you achieved, but necessary on Andy's model. You sure have set me a challenge to beat on the one I am building.

At the weight you have hit, I think you could go to 1800 mAh 3S battery and if you get the "Jiffy compact" cells from Hobby King, save yet another ounce!

Nice, attractive model and clever decor. Good show!
Think S.M.A.L.L. y'all and, it's all good, CL, FF and RC!

Thanks Larry.  I chose not to put flaps on it to see how it flys.  I actually built another wing with flaps that I might get Eric to send the the rest of the parts and put the flapped wing in.  I will give you and Andy a flight report once I can get it in the air.  The new Wing that Eric designed is much better than the old to build.....

Having built both wing designs I can heartily agree that Eric has a winner in the new one!

Hey Mike I love it and hope it flies as well as it looks.   You saved a little weight with the clear finish.

Do you have any photos of the wing before covering. Building one now and a bit perplexed on the trailing edge. Looking for parts in the kit which may not be there....

Just a thought: If you haven't, check out the on-line building guides that can be accessed through the RSM web site. The P-51 is not shown specifically but you may pick up a pointer or two that will help with the build. I know I find them informative.  8)
