Post by: Guilherme Souza on May 15, 2014, 12:33:25 AM
Dear All

I have the E-Flite 32 , 2450 mAh 5S batterys , will Hubin Timer and 13x4.5 EP prop

But my ESC is a Turnygy Super Brain 80 A

My problen is : IN Will Hubin Timer which one esc configuration I must choose ?
Today I'm using Phoenix New High
Should I use onether ?

This esc has usb linker so the governor mode is active in High
Fast Start (but is too slow yet) .
I'm using 8 MHz , i try to use 12 but the start was slower than before

Some one could help me ?

Thank you

I had this issue with a budget esc also and cured it by using throttle mode on the timer. Reread Will Hubins instruction manual.

You may want to try throttle mode or compensation throttle. I played around with some Turnigy ESC's and found that NONE of the governed very well. If I used compensation mode I could get it to run barely ok, which was not good enough for me. Since you already spent your money on the Hubin system, maybe you should think about getting a PHX 60, Ice lite 75 or a PHX Edge Lite 75. They come up often on the RC boards and E bay, if you don't mind a used one for less.
