Happy to report that after several conversations with Thunderpower RC, we now have a Pro-Lite 25 C 2200mAh 6S battery pack. This is a fantastic option for 35-40 sized ships and possibly, twins. Active timer setups and passive.
I also requested they consider producing a 5S 25C, 2200 mAh. Time will tell.
I was told that there is a costly certification process and of course, we have to prove a market. So let's buy 'em. To my knowledge, this is the only source for a 25C other than some hobby supplier from China. My preference(and others) is to stick with 25C rather than 30, 40 or higher. It's lighter in weight !
My very good friend, Robby Hunt, has the 6S and I'm sure he's cooking something up for it.

I have 4 of the new 2200mah 6s TP batteries and have been flying them in my 61 oz Titan and in my 57 oz Bel Air twin (650 and 670 sq in wing area respectively). The batteries weigh 10.4 oz inc the deans connector and are physically much smaller than the 6s 2800 mah TP's. I'm using 79% of the battery in the Titan, but haven't checked the usage in the twin yet.

It's a 3 blade prop and the rest of the system is an Igor Burger active timer set-up with a Jeti spin 66 esc and a Cobra 3515/18 motor

Well, this is with that 6s 2200
With that weight saving of 2.25 oz, I am able to fly my plane with 23.5% nose moment.
This plane is powered by Plat 20/18 with Tomasz 11.5/6, Fioratti timer/Spin 66.
I do want to thank Rick Huff for pointing me to this battery. I am in beast mod now, y1

A shout out to all : If you want 5S 2200mAH 25C batteries, we need your help now. There has to be a market so that TP can absorb required certification costs. Please contact " Kim" at TP and tell him you plan to purchase if they make them.

They have the same outside dimensions as the 2800 mAh 5S packs, carry virtually the same amount of energy, but due to the lower current compared to 5S produce less heat. Very suitable for something in the 660 -680 in^2 wing / 62-64 oz range. Better yet, their list price is $47.99 compared to $70.99 for the 5S equivalent. Can't wait for the Black Friday sale...

You're welcome. They also recently introduced a 5S 2200 pack that's another gem. I no longer use 4S 2800's. Almost identical weight and use in my Caprice. Landing with 28% . That's with a 3 blade, too.

On the TP page, the weight is listed as approx 300g. What is the weight for these 6S/2200 packs, as received?

Frank - I don't have anything that calls for that size at this moment, but when I do, the 5S 2200 pack will be at the top of my list.
Brent - my 6S 2200 tipped the scales at 303 g with XT60 connector installed. I also measured dimensions, and they are within less than a mm of the 5S 2800 pack. So the two are nearly identical in almost every way, and my vote goes to 6S 2200 for running cooler (and cheaper).

All we need now is a Pro Lite 1750 - 1800 4S pack to fill the gap between 1500 and 2200.

That's the nearly perfect size for 35 size planes. I've been having very good luck with the Hobby Star 4S 1800 MAH batteries from RC Juice.

Please bear in mind that TP , besides seeing a market for product, must test and certify each and every battery pack size that they sell. That's costly and time consuming. My involvement to obtain 5S and 6S 2200 25 C packs took several years and many conversations. TP packages cells for each pack. No other battery supplier has them; save one obscure hobby distributor in China with a 6- 8 week wait. And, they're much heavier.
We went to these sizes because they supply more juice to active timers and power hungry motors that easily swing three blade props. There are also benefits to those who use passive timers. My advice: Try 'em , you'll like 'em. Who was it that said that on tv ads decades ago? lol
