Never heard that.  I have heard that when not in use for a long time to store them in a refrigerator, not frozen just around 40 deg F.  Witch brings up a good point.  I also just got a set of four new 4 cell batteries.  I will not be using them till this summer.   As shipped from TP are they in a good state to store them?  Or should I put on some connectors. Charge them and then discharge them to storage level?    ???
 Also I have heard that you need to break in a new battery.   What's this all about?   ???

I just read the data sheet that came with my new TP batteries and it says that you need to discharge, for the first few times at 3C to 5C.  So for my 2800 packs, the discharge should be between 8.4A to 14A.  I have a discharger  that discharges at 4A.  And it pulls the pack down to 50%.  Will this work for breaking in a new battery?   ??? ???
