just got my TP batteries right off the UPS truck, cold as the great outdoors in winter. I've heard they get moisture in them from condensation when you warm them back up. I've got them slowly warming in their plastic pouches. Hope they're ok from the week long freezing road trip.

Never heard that. I have heard that when not in use for a long time to store them in a refrigerator, not frozen just around 40 deg F. Witch brings up a good point. I also just got a set of four new 4 cell batteries. I will not be using them till this summer. As shipped from TP are they in a good state to store them? Or should I put on some connectors. Charge them and then discharge them to storage level?
Also I have heard that you need to break in a new battery. What's this all about?
