It looks like I may get to go flying tomorrow.  So I fired up my new Thunder Power charger for the first time and charged up my 4 TP 4C 2800 mah batteries.  All 4 batteries were in different states of charge.  One was almost full.  I had charged it and used it to reset the RPMs on my e-Cavalier.  Two were in storage level and the fourth was somewhere in-between.  The TP4X610HV charger is truly 4 separate chargers built into one case.  Each charger is rated at 100W for a total of 400W.  It has a 115 V power supply built in, (also has a 12VDC input).  I set up all 4 channels for 4 cells, 6 amp, balance mode.  15V x 6A = 90 W.  This stays below the 100W max and provides around a 2X charge rate.  Because it is 4 separate chargers you can record the put-back for each battery.  I did looked at the put-back but did not record it.  However I do remember that all 4 put-back numbers were different.  When done I measured the individual cell voltage of each cell.  They were as follows:  Battery #1: 4.19, 4.20, 4.20, 4.20.  Battery #2: 4.20, 4.21, 4.19, 4.20.  Battery #3: 4.20, 4.20, 4.19, 4.20.  Battery #4: 4.20, 4.20, 4.19, 4.20.   So it appears that the TP4X610HV charger does a really good job of balancing.

I am going to love this charger.  It appears to be a good deal in every respect.

In this hobby we have all sorts of batteries that need charging

MY original Thunder Dual power RC 680 is 5 years old....never needed flashed to update firmware ...and does a very good job of recharging all my variety of batteries... mostly all my PB Nimh, Lipo, and Nicd stuff

At the time I was learning....all the club snobs/experts we steering me to $150 to $300 chargers.... this $65 bugger does all I need

So basically as I consider one or more Electrickery power solutions for my hobby---- I am glad the brand is still good and as an upgrade may NOT break the bank as part of my cost benefit decision process

Was wondering if you downloaded the software package for this charger.  It is mentioned in the instruction manual, but I don't find it on the ThunderPower site.  Nor the instruction manual.  Just curious -

I missed that part in the manual.  Mine  jumped and worked when I turned it on.  Haven't looked to see what is settable other than battery type, number of cells, and charge level.   So far the default setting for the balance mode have worked for me.  I looked and I don't see a data port for software update.
