seems a lot of money for a pack of that size - you can get the thunderpowers for less

Thanks Wynn, I live in Canada and this is a Canadian company so when you add international shipping this is actualy cheaper, the battery you mention is 159.00 on this site and 166.00 on other Canadian sites.
Thanks

Fair enough - I live in New Zealand - but it is still cheaper for me to buy from the States and have it shipped here than it is to buy from a LHS

check out hobbycity.com  their Zippy Flightmax packs are very good and cheap too. (about $40us for 4S 3300)

You may want to check out the GensAce batteries at hobbypartz http://www.hobbypartz.com/98p-25c-3300-4s1p.html. I have never used one but they have excellent writeups over on Rcgroups.com.

Great find Will,
Based on general specs these appear to be OEM (private label) versions of Turnigy and ZIPPY brands from HobbyKing.  I am currently using both ZIPPY and Turnigy with good results.  The big problem is freight from places other than USA.  As soon as I saw this post I ordered several for evaluation.  Thanks again

When you get them,Can you weigh them and post your results here? I have a feeling that some of the listed weights on these batteries are higher than they really are.

This what I ended up buying with recomended charger power supply, it was the lightest 3000+ ma battery I could find that wasn't $100 plus dollars, I'll let you all know when I get it.

Dwayne,
You will probably be fine with that, but if you were buying from Hobbyking, and had to get 3000mah 4 cell  why didn't you get this one at 2 3/4 ounces lighter  http://hobbycity.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=11920. You could have gotten their 3300's when they got them back in stock. The 25c weigh an ounce less http://hobbycity.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=11924  . The 35C weigh almost the same http://hobbycity.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=11950.
The Gens Ace batteries I mentioned a few posts up were 3300's but the listed weight was also the same as the ones you picked. I know the shipping is free on those at least in the US. I do realize that shipping to Canada may have played a factor in your decision.

Good find!!! Let us know how they work out. I was wondering why you would choose those other ones after all that was discussed here and on other threads.
