Reading about electric powered models has helped me to get my drywasher straightened out and running better. Seems there is a great simularity between props and pitch, and drive and driven pulleys and their diameter.
using a 2.5"drive pully to drive a 7" pully caused my motor to slow down too much and get warm..changing the driven pully to 11" reduced amp/draw and keeps the speed better.
