Stunt Calc back up
« on: July 08, 2015, 11:30:47 PM »
I can be really slow some times.  Several months ago I got myself a domain name and whatnot just for "play business" stuff with timers and whatnot.  Then I failed to remember that I have this nifty application that's been lying fallow on my computer because I didn't have a place to host it.

So, here it is.  It's hard to use, more or less a geek's delight, and when all is said and done it'll just give you a starting point rather than a firm prediction of what you need.  Worse, the numbers are wrong for Igor's timers (but correct, I think, for Hubin and Renicle timers).  But -- here it is.

Have fun.  Operation is totally self-explanatory, if you're a geek.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

Hey Tim,

What is the "Stunt Calc" written in?  I'm running Ubuntu Linux/Firefox and I have no luck with the link.  I get one of those pesky, non-informative messages that I "... need a plug-in to run this application" with little insight into what is needed.

TIA,
Jim Howell

Sorry about that.  Java -- you need a Java plug in, or you need to download the jar file and run it manually on your machine.

Tim,

Got it.  And, hmmmm.... I thought I had Java plugins available and linked in.  I'll need to go poke around a bit to see what has changed in my preferences.

Thanks,
Jim

Since this new hosting site lets me do active web pages I should make it a .php setup that requires no special features on the user end.  I would, too -- if it weren't for pesky things like house payments and food that has to be paid for and all that.
