Still room in my heart
« on: July 22, 2010, 02:18:22 PM »
I flew my Smoothie powered my an OS 46 nitro engine today and it did quite well.  I guess I still may have a little nostalgic room in my heart to salvage a few of my nitro burners for old time sake.  I think I will keep my Cardinal, my Pathfinder and my Smoothie all powered by OS 46 nito engines.   If they are nice, I may take them out with the electric machines once in awhile for a little exescise.

Best wishes and good safe flying.

I understand exactly where you are coming from. Electric has been a revelation for me but I still sneak the odd session in with my old Oliver Tiger powered combat wing occasionally. It's a sort of guilty pleasure when no one is looking.  >:D

I started out with nothing and still have most of it left.....
