Vector 40 has a 1-3/4in spinner. I need one with 5mm adapter. I like the bullet shape like the one in the plans.
Thanks

Hobby king has a 48mm spinner that might work for you.

If you have an available backplate, you could make the wanted design shape with 3D printer technique.
I created an stl file, sent it to a 3d printer company, and they made it for 20 bucks....

Brent that one is perfect shape but the reviews are awful. I saw a Brodack spinner that is very nice but I cant find a proper adapter for it. I searched the forum for information but it seems elusive at this time. I saw someone putting a Brodak spinner with some kind of adapter but there is no reference to that part.
Wolfgang I do not trust printed parts because they fail at lamination and I do not have a 3D printer.

Great Planes makes a 1 3/4" dia plastic spinner with a aluminum backplate. You'll need an adapter for it. I use Hyperion HP-ADAP-50XL.
5mm motor shaft with a 6mm prop shaft. You NEED the 50XL, not the 50L.

The spinner is not made by the familiar home 3d printer with a PLA filament! It is made by Selective Laser Sintering, SLS, using polyamide PA 12 or PA 2200. Rock solid!

I print mine from ABS. Works a treat.
