Schulze hook up
« on: December 30, 2010, 10:44:03 AM »
I just hooked my 1846 F2B controller to my Plettenburg. Plugged the power pole heard beeping, pressed button, waited for motor to go but no go. What am I missing? Everything seems to be connected right.

Are you using the FM-9 Timer?  If so, Will sells a timer board with a voltage regulator on board (BEC).  what you have to do is solder a couple of leads into incoming (+/-) wires of the ESC.  Castle Creations sell a good one if you are using someone else's timer.

BTW - been there done that

Just came from LHS and picked up a Castle BEC. Now I just need a FM-9 timer card from Will.
Thanks.
