Which issue?  I want to go see if I have it, or if it's still pending.

Thank you guys for the kind remarks.  I hope this encourages more people to discover all the great advantages electric has over IC.  As I said in the article, it kept me in the hobby, and I have my flying partner and friend Willie DeMauro to thank.

I ask my question, I run out and get the mail, and -- hey!  There it is.

Nice article, and nice plane.  I like your idea of mounting the speed controller to the landing gear -- maybe CC should start making heat sink lands on their controllers!

Thanks Michael, I will be building an electric built up after I come back from Brodak's Fly In. I will have pictures and documentation on the building process. I will send it to MA and see if they want to publish it also.

FWIW...

My Castle Creations ICE 50 has a heat sink. And my CC Airplane Field Programmer came with the USB cable.

Hi Mike,

No, because I plan on building that over the winter for next year. It will probably be a built up plane. I drew the plans for the fuselage and the wing will be from Bob Hunt's Lost Foam system (the Caprice).

However, I will have my latest electric profile with me at the contest. I named it "ILLUSION".  It has a sheeted foam wing and flys like a dream.  I am going to try and fly after the contest is over since I will be judging beginner and intermediate.    I hope you can make it to the contest and if you do, please look for me and say hello. I'd like to meet you, and if you have any questions regarding electric flight, I will be very glad to answer them.

We have a great flying club and everybody is very friendly.

Best regards

Ron
