I have a Hanger 9 digital incidence meter. I have long since lost the instructions that came with it and maybe somebody out there can answer my question. The second button down from the top is labeled "Acquire" does anybody know what that means? The top button is labeled "Hold" and the bottom is an on/off switch. The reason I am asking is I do not get good readings (compared to my gravity incidence meter) unless I press the "Acquire" button then the two meters seem to match. I don't remember having to do that before. If I don' press "Acquire" the beam is visually not level when it reads "0" degrees incidence. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Andrew,
sometimes a quick search on Google will save some grief.
I did a search for "hanger nine incidence meter" which lead me to a page about the meter, then on there under resources was a link for the manual,,
http://www.hangar-9.com/ProdInfo/Files/HAN192_Angle_Pro_Manual.pdf
bet this will help you out...
a quick review of the document says the aquire button sets zero,,
good luck,,
