Title: Props
Post by: paul winter on October 06, 2012, 01:22:49 PM
So here i am hooked on electric
been flying my new model and trying out different props ....12x6 tractor ,,,,12x6 pusher

im asking the experts on prop info ,,how does a pusher to a tractor help as the electric runs smooth unlike a four stroke

i have had 10 flights on each and bar the top of the square 8 not a lot seems to be different between them

am i missing something or is my model not trimmed right ????

Paul,
When I made the switch to a pusher prop  one of the biggest things I noticed was the plane didn't go light on the lines in the top of the vertical 8 and hourglass.

Or anyplace else in the pattern for that matter,  "TOTAL" line tension  everywhere, that is the advantage.----James

You tell me it even helps the maneuvers that had good tension to begin with in the pattern?   I mean  inside loops with the  wind blowing try to pull me off balance.
