Post by: Dwayne on September 20, 2011, 08:24:42 PM
Hi all I just started to program my esc and I have some questions, the castle link software I downloaded looks nothing like the on in the "cook book" here, there is no where to enter how many cells or voltage and in advance there are 4 collums I can't find any info on.
1- current limiting
2- PWM Rate
3- motor timing

What version of the software are you using?  There should be more columns shown.  Mine is v3.411

No my screen looks nothing like that so I deleted it and now I'm trying to reinstall from Castle web site but I keep getting an error (web site can't be found)  HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~>

Good Morning Dwayne
What cookbook are you using :) ?  The one I posted works on my Phoenix 60.  You may need to update the firmware.  On the top right-hand side of your Castle Link (v3.41.1); click on updating the firmware.  Firmware update 3.28 should be the latest.
1 Current limiting - I suggest Normal
2 PWM Rate 8 to 12 KHz
3 Motor timing -normal to low I run Custom 4
4 Throttle response - not used in C/L

PM me if you need more help

Sorry Dwayne
To your Internet Explorer top line - where the addresses appear then “Enter” and the Castle Download site should appear.

PS or click on the blue link in your previous post
